I found the love for drawing when I was a kid, Mom sent me to an art school when I was twelve. I would jump on the bus on the outskirts of Calgary in summer or winter and set off alone into the middle of Calgary. The 26 hours of nude study a week for two years in Vancouver School of Art also had a profound effect.
My passion for photography from 15 years old and drawing collaborated with my need to become a digital artist in 1995.
I exhibited in Los Angeles, New York, and London in the first digital exhibitions of their kind by 1998. The 1.4 megabyte hard disks were sent via Air Mail and somehow crammed massive image files on them or downloaded over the net.

Drawing is like tuning your guitar, how can you play unless you have tuned your instrument. Lines contain form and within a form is a unique space. Digital imaging is painting with a light.
